American Council for the Blind

Works to increase the independence, security, equality of opportunity, and quality of life, for all blind and visually-impaired people. Offers public information and referrals on all aspects of blindness and visual impairments.
Provides six core programs and can also financially assist individuals in several distinct ways including Educational Scholarships, Summer Camp, Adaptive Technology, Special Services, and Youth Services.
