Victim’s Advocate of the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office

Advocates on behalf of victims within the Judicial System, providing court information and emotional support. Services include: notification of dates for court appearances, sentencing notification, referral to appropriate social service agencies, transportation arrangements if otherwise unavailable, assistance completing applications for crime victim compensation, help obtaining protection from the defendant, return of recovered personal property, help obtaining restitution, help with intercession with an employer or creditor, and also answers questions about the case.
