Cape Girardeau Nutrition Center
Center offers lunch and a variety of activities and services to enrich the physical, social, and emotional well-being of participants. Also provides home delivered meals for seniors and their spouse who are age 60 and over and homebound. No special diets available-regular and modified diabetic (salad and fruit) only. Delivers to Cape city limits and part of Cape Girardeau County. Available Monday-Friday except holidays or when Cape Girardeau Public Schools are closed due to bad weather, participants are given 3 emergency meals for those days. Center has multiple opportunities for those that would like to volunteer in the center or with delivering meals. The suggested contribution toward the cost of the meal is $4 per meal.
