Hoover Eldercare Center

Offers three programs including; Senior Alive/Eldercare which is an adult day care center that provides health maintenance, opportunities for social interaction, assistance to individuals in attaining and maintaining maximum level of independence in daily living, and opportunities for lifelong learning. It offers care for persons who need supervision and support, and provides respite for family members. A warm noon lunch and nutritious snacks provided; the Senior Learning Program, offers fitness, self-improvement, education and computer classes; and the Allen Gerontology Library is a lending library of books and materials intended for use by senior adults.

Eligibilty

60 years of age and older, live in Cape Girardeau County, oriented to person, identity, and time. Mobile and continent. Must be able to communicate and be willing to participate in program activities. Must pass functional assessments.
