Safe House of Southeast Missouri

Residential and non-residential services for adults and children who have experienced domestic violence, sexual violence, dating violence and stalking. Residential services are provided at a confidential shelter. Non-residential services are provided at the Outreach Office, 230 North Spring Street in Cape Girardeau. Also provides counseling, support groups, case management, court advocacy, community education and outreach, and a youth violence prevention program for jr. high and high school students.  Agency also offers Batterer Intervention Program to help men who batter women learn why and to prevent further abuse. Program is primarily for Cape Girardeau, Bollinger and Scott Counties. All services are confidential and free of charge. The Safe House for Women Thrift Store is available at 230 North Spring Street in Cape Girardeau. Thrift store is open Monday-Friday, 9:00am-4:00pm and Saturday 9:00am-3:00pm. Hotline open 24/7.
