SEMO University – Center for Speech and Hearing
Center provides a broad range of speech-language pathology and audiology services including diagnostic and treatment services for children and adults. The audiology clinic provides diagnostic assessments of hearing for the purpose of determining hearing status, identifying the degree of the hearing loss, determining if medical referral is warranted, and determining candidacy for hearing aids and other intervention devices or services. Speech-language services include assessment of speech, language, voice, swallowing and other aspects of communication. Also provides Cognitive Stimulation Therapy which is used for those at risk of or diagnosed with mild-moderate dementia. The Center does not bill private insurance, Medicaid, or Medicare.
