Muscular Dystrophy Association-MDA

Program works to find treatments and cures for muscular dystrophy, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and other neuromuscular diseases. Work includes funding worldwide research; providing comprehensive health care services and support to MDA families nationwide and by rallying communities to fight back through advocacy, fundraising and local engagement. Services include wheelchairs, communication devices and other medical equipment, recreational programs/summer camp (youth ages 6-21) and flu shots.
