Southeast Missouri Pets
An independent, nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of pets and people in southeast Missouri. Provides a no kill shelter and adoption services for animals. No fee to bring in animals. Cost to adopt varies. Spay Neuter Assistance Program for income qualified families that could not otherwise afford to spay or neuter their pet. Approved families pay $25 for cats and $35 for dogs. Application with identification and proof of income is required. If pet food supply is available, program will provide one time assistance with pet food for those not able to afford food. Buddies for the Brave program provides half off adoption fees for veterans and active military. Kitten and puppy yoga available one time per month for $20. Visit the website at https://semopets.org/
