American Cancer Society
Services for Southeast Missouri are provided from the St. Louis office. Provides information, referrals, and assistance to cancer patients, their families, friends, and caregivers. Through Road To Recovery, the program works to locate volunteers to provide transportation for patients traveling to treatment. Can provide wigs and turbans available free of charge. Also works to arrange for housing locally and at many of the out of town hospitals when patients are sent 50 miles or more away for cancer treatment. Hope Lodge provides housing in St. Louis. Look Good Feel Better program helps with wigs, skin care and make up program to help men, women and teens feel and look their best. Visit the website at https://www.cancer.org/
