Boy Scouts of America -BSA

Program is designed to promote character, leadership, citizenship and personal fitness in boys and girls while instilling the fundamental values of Scouting. Scouting is a form of learning by doing where youth lead their own activities and participate in service, outdoor adventures, and leadership development programs. Scouts are introduced to hobbies, interests, sciences, and future career choices. Cub Scouts are available for ages 5-10 and Boy Scouts for ages 11-17. Additional programs include Venturing and exploring for ages 14-20. Shawnee District covers Cape Girardeau, Bollinger, Perry, northern Scott and northern Stoddard Counties.
