Missouri Family Support and Children’s Division
State of Missouri office providing services for families and children. The Family Support Office services include SNAP program (food stamps), Temporary Assistance, Day Care Assistance, Blind Services, Medicaid and Nursing Home Medicaid. Toll free Information Center can be reached at (855) 373-4636 from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday – Friday. For SNAP interviews call (855) 823-4908. The Children’s Division provides child abuse and neglect services, foster care and adoption services. Case management services include information and referral services, prevention and supportive services to families with children ages 0-17. The Division works towards ensuring the safety, permanency, and well-being of Missouri children by responding to reports made to the Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline, (800) 392-3738. Family Centered Services are provided when the Division or the court decides that a family could benefit from assistance that includes a range of treatment and support services that focus on strengthening the family. Services are also available to any families in Missouri who voluntarily ask for services.
