Missouri Protection and Advocacy Services

A federally mandated system in the state of Missouri which provides protection of the rights of persons with disabilities through legally-based advocacy. Provides advocacy and legal services under ten federally funded programs. Those programs are Client Assistance Program, Protection & Advocacy for Individuals with Mental Illness, Protection and Advocacy for Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, Protection & Advocacy of Individual Rights, Protection & Advocacy for Assistive Technology, Protection & Advocacy for Beneficiaries of Social Security, Protection & Advocacy for Traumatic Brain Injury, Protection and Advocacy for Voting Accessibility, Representative Payee program and Work Incentives Planning and Assistance.
