Muscular Dystrophy Association-MDA

Program works to find treatments and cures for muscular dystrophy, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and other neuromuscular diseases. Work includes funding worldwide research; providing comprehensive health care services and support to MDA families nationwide; and by rallying communities to fight back through advocacy, fundraising and local engagement. Services include wheelchairs, communication devices and other medical equipment, recreational programs/summer camp (youth ages 6-21) and flu shots. Clinic services are provided through Washington University School of Medicine.
