Find Help

National Runaway Safeline

A federally-designated national communication system (hotline and website) for runaway and homeless youth. Youth and family members can call to work through problems and to find local help. Callers receive support, help finding shelter, food, medical assistance, or counseling. Program works to identify options to prevent youth from leaving their home, when possible and if appropriate. HomeFree program provides free transportation back home for runaways between the ages of 12 and 20. Program can be contacted by phone call, text or chat.
