Find Help

One City

Agency’s mission is to create space and opportunities to unite the city through resources, relationships and community development. Based on three components of community gatherings and development, job training and employment and child enrichment opportunities. Agency offers job preparedness courses in partnership with an established job preparedness program called Work Life which is a Biblically-based 10 week program that meets twice a week.  Work Life is designed for people who are unemployed or underemployed. The program inspires, guides, and equips participants as they prepare to find and keep meaningful employment. Throughout each course,  participants work with an ally (mentor) who walks alongside them throughout the program. Participants can enroll in HiSET classes and graduate with a high school diploma as part of the program.

As part of child enrichment, the agency offers free or reduced tuition classes in art and dance. Children are offered the opportunity to perform and share their talents with the community through events such as an art show and open house.

The agency also uses their center for community events, meals and meeting space for other organizations.  For more information or to enroll in a class visit the center in person or email Visit the website at
