Parents As Teachers (PAT) is a free parent education and family support program serving families with children from prenatal through age 5 or until kindergarten entry. Program provides parent educators that visit families in home to offer developmental, vision, and hearing screenings to participants. Parent educators also teach parents to be their child’s first teacher. The program is free and has no income guidelines. Parents As Teachers is voluntary and offered by each school district in Missouri. Contact local school district office for the PAT program in that district.
