Preferred Family Healthcare

Agency provides employment services for those with disabilities that assists individuals with finding and keeping employment. Services include: Job placement and retention, Supported Employment, Specialized Services for People with Brain Injuries (BI), Specialized Services for People who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing (DHH), Specialized Services for People who are on the Autism Spectrum (ASD), Career planning and preparation, and Skill Training Programs. Referrals are taken from Vocational Rehabilitation. Agency also has the Community Services Division that provides ISL services for clients referred by Sikeston Regional Center. Additional services include Chafee Foster Youth Program, serves youth ages 14-20 that remain in state custody, who need support as they transition into adulthood. AO will work with each youth to achieve individual goals in the areas of academics, employment, community services and support, youth leadership and independent living skills. Also provides Aftercare Program. Aftercare is an emergency/crisis service, providing assistance and support for former foster youth who have been released from state custody at the age of 17½ or older, but not yet reached the age of 21. In addition to the Chafee services specified above, Aftercare youth qualify for crisis intervention, housing assistance, and healthcare assistance. Visit the website at https://pfh.org/missouri
