Salvation Army
Provides multiple services. Food pantry available on Tuesday’s from 9:00am – 12:00pm. Food pantry assistance available one time per month. Commodities provided during food pantry hours with application. Meals with Friends provides a meal every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Financial assistance can be provided as funds allow for rent, water bills, and electric bills. Showers are available in the morning hours before noon. Also assists during times of natural disasters or house fires. Contact Cape Girardeau office for referrals to service units in other Southeast Missouri counties. Can call the St. Louis office to locate service units in other counties. Program also serves as a cooling and warming center during inclement weather.
