Senior and Disability Services

Provides multiple services for the well-being of seniors and the disabled in Missouri.  Services include in-home services, protective services, home and community based care and case management.  Services are for those age 60 and over or those 18 and over with a disability.  Must be Medicaid eligible for services.  Agency is responsible for taking and responding to reports of elder abuse, neglect and exploitation.  To make a report call toll free (800)392-0210.  Reports can also be made online at http://health.mo.gov/seniors

The agency also offers the Legal Helpline which provides information and assistance on power of attorney, guardianship, living wills, advance directives, wills, trusts, and other civil legal issues.  The Helpline does not help with criminal cases, fee-generating cases, imprisonment, or municipal/traffic cases.  Legal Helpline can be reached at (800)235-5503.
