Facility provides inpatient, adult mental health services in southeast Missouri including  follow-up services for discharged clients. Offers longer stay in patient treatment services for persons demonstrating persistently dangerous behaviors and ongoing impairment in social functioning in daily living skills due to mental illness. Many of these persons are admitted under the criminal court statute as Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity. Also offers Sex Offender Rehabilitation and Treatment Services. Program is an involuntary civil commitment program for the treatment of sexually violent predators. All admissions are pre-arranged upon referral, primarily through criminal courts.
