Southeast Missouri Transportation Service (SMTS)

SMTS is a non-governmental, non-profit general public transportation service. SMTS transportation services are available throughout South Central and Southeast Missouri. SMTS provides a wide variety of passenger transportation services to all age groups. Transportation is handicapped accessible. Transportation is available within the counties served and also to Cape Girardeau, St. Louis and Springfield for major medical facilities. Donations are accepted for the senior and disabled population. Set fees are charged for all others. Rides must be scheduled 2-3 days in advance. SMTS is a Medicaid transportation provider.
